Students and teachers of the department of journalism and philology of the FРSС of Sumy State University met with graduate, screenwriter, actress, psychologist and journalist Anastasia Kotlyar.

Anastasia Kotlyar is a 2007 student. From the time of her studies, she began her professional career as a TV presenter of the “Sports News” column at the “Vidikon” television station. In 2014, already with a graduate diploma, she received the position of graduate editor at the same TV channel. After moving to Kyiv, she was engaged in writing scripts for various programs on the TV channel “STB”, in particular, “Everything will be fine”. With her participation, such projects as “Ukrainian Supermodel” and “For Life” were released. To date, she has found herself in psychology and acting – she acts mainly in commercials and short films.

During the meeting, the students discussed with the stakeholder the issue of creating advertising materials, the features of shooting promo videos, the rules of behavior in front of the camera, writing scripts for various media materials, etc.

After attending a meeting with Anastasia Kotlyar, I began to perceive advertising in a completely different way. It turned out that even a team of two or even three dozen employees was behind the video for a few tens of seconds! And it's actually incredible! Anastasia also proved from her own experience that it is constant self-development and the desire to learn new things that are the key components of a successful media worker.

Anastasiya Kotlyar summarized the results of the entire conversation with basic advice for journalists and advertisers. She advises never to stop your step, despite the inner fear. “Be afraid and do it!” – this final phrase can be used to describe the life credo of a brave and talented graduate, who the Department of Journalism and Philology of the FРSС of Sumy State University can be proud of.
