The work of the Winter School «Global Synergy through Collaborative Online International Learning» (COIL) of the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities (AUU), which includes the Ukrainian Catholic University, Sumy State University, Kyiv National University named after T. Shevchenko, Kyiv School, has ended in the city of Lviv of Economics, National University of Water Management and Nature Management, Dnipro Polytechnic.. The Department of Journalism and Philology of the FРSС of Sumy State University was represented by teacher Olena ISHCHENKO.

The Winter School was designed to provide AUU members and their faculty with the experience to effectively internationalize, foster cross-cultural collaboration, enrich educational content, and cultivate sustainable global partnerships through COIL technology. Halyna PROTSIK, Deputy Vice-Rector for Internationalization of the Ukrainian Catholic University, moderated the event.

Olena ISHCHENKO shared her impressions:

–  During her studies at the AUU Winter School, she got a unique experience of developing COIL modules from foreign and Ukrainian teachers, got acquainted with innovative teaching technologies. The result of my studies was the development of the module “Literature and Journalism: Interaction and Mutual Influences”, which I hope to implement shortly. COIL courses are also important because they allow you to popularize Ukraine and strengthen its importance at the international level through the higher education system. Thank you to Sumy State University for the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills, because professional self-improvement is the way  #media_space_leads_to_the_universe.
