On the pages of the Ukrainian-American weekly «Nova  газета» (№2(717), January 10, 2024), Raisa Stoyan’s article “War through the eyes of the children of the Ukrainian-Russian border” about the festival “Mediaspace Leads to the Universe” is published.

In the first paragraphs, the author asks the question: “It would seem, why during a full-scale Russian invasion and also on the border with the aggressor, when the sirens of air alarms almost do not subside (which means that children, teachers, in fact, everyone who is on this territories should descend into shelter, and after the break-up, return to classes again), organize some large-scale media events. Isn't it time?”. And in the next sentence he affirmatively answers: “And how timely! Because the enemy is waging war not only with artillery and powerful cruise missiles, but also with the help of sending fakes, disinformation, cyber attacks, numerous fraudulent schemes - the list of shameful methods and means is simply endless. Of course, children and teenagers are the most vulnerable category, they take everything literally, and there are even cases when they become blind weapons in the hands of unkind people”.

In general, it tells about the history of the birth and development of the event from the competition of school editions to the festival, focusing on its purpose, tasks and purpose. And of course, an analysis of the competition works written by schoolchildren of various schools of Sumy region is presented, their content and spirit is conveyed.
