At the Department of Journalism and Philology of SSU, the results of VI Youth advertising festival "The eighth color" were announced. The contest is held annually on the basis of our department and engages students and pupils to develop and further implement the ideas relating to advertising, branding, startups, etc

As the organizers of the competition noted, every year works become more complex, interesting and creative. This year, like the past, about 30 works were filed in different nominations. Ten students became recipients of prizes and winners of “The eighth color” in two nominations. In the nomination "Proud to be students of SSU! Projects of creative souvenir production for SSU» the coeds of the group IT-62 took prize places: Olga Kukharchuk (1st place) and Viktoriya Ponomarenko (2nd place).

In the nomination “Proud to be students of SSU! Projects of award production for SSU (documents, diplomas, certificates)” Viktoriya Ponomarenko (1st place, group IT-62) and Dmitry Prosutsya (3rd place, group IT-62) were awarded diplomas. Students of the Department of Journalism and Philology took all awards in the nomination "Media-startup". The winners were Valentyna Nemesh (ZhT-62 (ad)) and Khachataryan Karina (ZhT-61) with the concept of Youtube channel "PRO rights", Oleh Voronenko and Anastasia Radchenko (ZhT-62 (ad)), who presented the idea of Youtube channel "The life of students and teachers". "Our project is a series of interviews that are aimed at destroying the barrier of obscurity between students and teachers. We want to show teachers not as teachers, but as people who have certain hobbies, ideas; their stories of how they came to the university, who they were before their career began here. We also have a desire to show the lives of students, their success, achievement: what makes them well-known in this educational institution. As for the impressions about the festival, what I liked the most was that many students, who took part in the competition, were not from our department, but there were quite few works that won this year," pointed out Oleg Voronenko, the winner of "The eighth color-2019". Every year the organizing committee enables students to develop a corporate style of the festival. The concept of the corporate style of the present festival was developed by Oleg Voronenko (ZhT-62 (ad)). The organizers expressed hope that there will be no less interest in the competition next year. And "The eighth color-2020" is already looking forward to all those wishing to be creative)))
