In December 2022, the scientific journals “Obraz” and “Philological Treatises” were published, the editors of which work on the basis of the Department of Journalism and Philology of the FРSC of Sumy State University.

The third issue of the “Obraz” (sciences: social communications; specialties: 061 – Journalism) for 2022 analyzes the impact of the war in Ukraine on the world economy in terms of journalistic approaches, the psychological dimension of Ukrainian war diaries, the structural features and communication potential of modern serials, narratives news video content of the period of martial law, the theme of the cartoons of the journal “Pepper”, journalistic work by Sofia Rusova, demonic images in modern Ukrainian advertising, the algorithm for detecting unreliable links and rumors in Telegram channels, other important problems of journalism and communication studies.

The authors of the second issue of the “Philological Treatises” (humanities, specialties: 035 – Рhilology) for 2022 consider the issue of phonetic skills of the modern French language as components of the communicative competence of students of higher education, the essay as a priority genre of academic writing, linguistic transformations of the “Aeneid” in different years publication, spiritual and military stability in the Ukrainian people’s thoughts, mission and vision in the language of sustainable brands, as well as various aspects of the work of Boris Antonenko-Davydovych, Vera Nesterchuk, Halyna Orlivna, Stanislav Lem.

With the beginning of 2023, work on new issues of magazines also began. So, articles for publication in “Obraz” are accepted until February 15, articles for “Philological Тreatises” – until May 15. Original scientific articles and communications from recognized scientists as well as those who are starting the difficult path to science, in particular graduate students, are accepted for publication.
