On August 16, Yaroslav Yanenko, associate professor of the Department of Journalism and Philology of the FРSC of Sumy State University, took part in the webinar “Programmatic advertising”, organized by the Gazeta Vyborchai Foundation (Poland) and the Ukrainian Media Fund together with the Swedish SIDA Foundation.

Alla Fedorina, associate professor of the department of journalism and philology of the FРSС of Sumy State University, is currently working as a media trainer in the project with this name.

On August 4, the Ukraine Global Faculty international educational platform hosted an online lecture by the director of education at Coursetune, senior researcher of the Academy of Higher Education, founder of The Grad Academy, Jonathan Cisco – "Introduction to the use of quantitative methods in research in the United States." The initiative was implemented thanks to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the grant support of the Ukrainian Startup Fund. The event was attended by Olena Ishchenko, an assistant at the Department of Journalism and Philology of the FРSС of Sumy State University.

On May 25-26, the II scientific and practical conference of students, postgraduate students and young scientists “Contemporary Mass Communication Space: History, Realities, Prospects” was held at the Department of Journalism and Philology of the FPSC of Sumy State University. Based on the results of the conference, a collection of scientific papers was prepared.

At the Department of Journalism and Philology of the FРSC of Sumy State University, the defense of the qualification papers of the bachelor’s level of education under the educational programs “Journalism” and “Advertising and Public Relations” took place.

On June 15-16, the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the University of Warsaw (Katedra Ukrainistyki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego) started celebrations on the occasion of its 70th anniversary, inviting colleagues from all over the world to the international scientific conference “Traditions and Challenges of Ukrainian Studies in the Modern World”. Alla YAROVA, associate professor of the department of journalism and philology of the FРSС of Sumy State University, took part in the scientific meetings and celebrations.

The “Media world leads to the universe” festival, which is held by the Department of Journalism and Philology of the FРSC of Sumy State University in partnership with the NGO “Sumy Press Club” and the Sumy Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, has ended.
