Students, postgraduate students, teachers of the Department of Journalism and Philology of the Faculty of FPSC SSU took part in a master class on Instagram journalism from German media expert Selina Bettendorf, who was the first to create instructions for using programs and services on the social network Instagram.

The training was part of a joint virtual mobility program between Sumy State University and Johann Gutenberg University (Mainz, Germany) “Media in a Global and European Context” for students and postgraduate students.

The participants of the master class were divided into groups, which included both students of the University of Mainz and Ukrainian students to collaborate on various Instagram projects. The training took place synchronously, using online technologies in Mainz and Sumy.

Selina Bettendorf's class was also joined by teachers of the Department of Journalism and Philology of the Faculty of FPSC SSU: they performed tasks from a German colleague in the university auditorium.

We take the best from international practice. We embody in the educational process of training journalists in Sumy: #mediaspace_leads_to_the_universe.
