A scheduled meeting of the Expert Council of Employers of Sumy State University in the specialty 061 "Journalism" was held. The dialogue between scientists and representatives of the media industry continues constantly, this time it had a continuation in an online format. 

This time, the ESP guarantor, PhD in Journalism, associate professor Volodymyr Sadivnychiy, members of the expert group, the associate professor Yaroslav Yanenko and professor Olena Tkachenko were invited to the meeting of the Expert Council.

It was Olena Tkachenko, the head of the Department of Journalism and Philology of the FFSC Faculty of SSU, who began the meeting with a welcoming speech and presented those members of the Council who participated in the meeting: Oksana Kyrylenko – the producer of the Branch of JSC "National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine" "Sumy Regional Directorate", Natalia Roztorguyeva - the consultant of the information and analytical work department of the executive apparatus of Sumy Regional Council, Svetlana Bezchotnikova – the Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Mass Communications of Mariupol State University. The head of the Council of Employers, representative of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting in Sumy region Larysa Yakubenko visited the department offline.

The first on the agenda was the analysis of the educational and scientific program "Doctor of Philosophy" in the specialty 061 Journalism of the year of admission 2021. This ESP is currently under discussion. The Chairman of the Expert Council invited Volodymyr Sadivnychiy as the guarantor of the program to deliver a speech. He focused on the prerequisites for updating the program, emphasized the differences from the previous year, the peculiarities of certain components, stages, and rules for approving this document. In their brief speeches, both council members and the chairman noted that they will conduct a detailed analysis of the new educational and scientific program, meet for consultations and form advice from the Expert Council of Employers in the forms and terms determined by the procedure.

The second issue was practical training of students of the specialty 061 Journalism of educational degrees of Bachelor, Master, Doctor of Philosophy. Larysa Yakubenko reported. She focused on the published programs and the syllabus of practical training. She also assured that the Council will certainly present its vision on programs of both educational, scientific, and practical training after the collective discussion and certain developments.
