DOCUDAYS UA is the International Documentary Film Festival on Human Rights. Every year it gathers those who are interested in documentary, has an active civic position and, in general, those who are not indifferent to what is happening in public life. The opening of the festival was attended by the representatives of the Department of Journalism and Philology. They got to know what would impress the Ukrainian audience of DOCUDAYS UA-2019

 

The lecturer of the Department of Journalism and Philology Raisa Stoyan, together with students Marina Kochmak and Daria Lobank, took part in the opening of the XVIth International Documentary Film Festival on Human Rights DOCUDAYS UA. They could attend the event at the invitation of the Development Program of the United Nations Organisation.

Within two days representatives of the Sumy Media School in non-stop mode watched documentaries, discussed them with authors and other participants in the film festival. The films were shown at the cinema “Zhovten”.

The students and lectures of the Institute of Journalism of the Kyiv National University of Taras Shevchenko (Kyiv), Dniprovsky National University of Oles Honchar (Dnipro) and the Eastern European National University of Lesia Ukrainka (Lutsk) also took part in the events of DOCUDAYS UA.
