Oleksandr Gorda, a post-graduate student, assistant of the Department of Journalism and Philology of the Faculty FРSC of Sumy State University, took part in the virtual course “Virtual Class on Grant-Funded Research” within the framework of the “Enhancement of The PhD Students Potential for Qualitative Research in Ukraine” project.

The course coordinator is the Czech University of Natural Sciences (Prague). The project was implemented by Sumy State University, Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University, Sumy National Agrarian University, Polis National University, Chernihiv Polytechnic National University. The speakers were the following scientists: Professor Davyd Kherak, Associate Professors Avraam Kabutei, Volodymyr Kripl, Tetiana Usyuk and Nataliya Dubrova.

It is noteworthy that the project was created for applicants who are still studying and, at the same time, for those who have already completed postgraduate studies. The purpose of the course is to help young scientists navigate the space of international cooperation in the field of education, gain access to innovative technologies, or find a foreign mentor. The project “Enhancement of the PhD Students Potential for Qualitative Research in Ukraine” contributes to the integration of the national system of higher education into the single European scientific and pedagogical space, because it strengthens scientific ties between Ukraine and the Czech Republic.

– The virtual class has become an example for creating deep and carefully thought-out training programs. The number of useful tasks and tests during training allows you to understand how to better prepare for receiving a grant. Now I have valuable practical experience, – Oleksandr Gorda shared his impressions.

We would like to remind you that the study of the European experience in the training of postgraduate students is a priority direction of the Department of Journalism and Philology of Sumy State University. This is the way that #mediaspace_leads_to_the_universe.
