Volodymyr Sadivnychy, Head of the Department of Journalism and Philology, FPSC SSU, took part in the TV program “Today. The Main Thing”, which is shown on UA: SUMY. The topic of the issue is “Features of the Radio Dictation of National Unity 2021”.

Answering the journalist’s questions and conveying his own thoughts and emotions to TV viewers, Volodymyr Sadivnychy, in particular, pointed out that this year’s radio dictation left him “absolutely and categorically” with a positive impression, considers it a gift to Ukrainians from a recognized master of the word “one of the global pros”.

To the question about the disadvantages, he answered as follows: “I will not be original, I will say that, what has already been said and written – the speed of reading”. Expanding this thesis, he said that the pace of writing was not taken into account by people of different ages, as well as that young and middle-aged people do not have the daily skills of writing with fountain pens.

Volodymyr Sadivnychy considers not the “examination of the literacy” but the “literacy test” to be the most important achievement, the most important vocation of writing a radio dictation of national unity.
