The creative team "Backstage of Life", which includes a student-journalist Ekaterina Shestak, as well as postgraduate students of the Department of Journalism and Philology Julia Koval and Marina Sadivnycha, took the first place in the all-Ukrainian competition of social videos in counteraction to human traffic "I am not for sale"

The awarding ceremony was held in Zaporizhia within the social video festival. The organizer is a charitable foundation "Smile of the child" with the support of the US Law Enforcement Affairs Department at the US Embassy in Ukraine. The main goal of the event is to create a high-quality video product that is capable of attracting attention and raising the level of public awareness about counteraction to human traffic.

Policemen, TV and radio presenters, experts on counteraction to human traffic, bloggers, journalists, and public activists were included in the contest jury.

Our girls’ video was selected from thirty-seven works sent from all over Ukraine.

-The first participation in such a competition and the first victory – a participant of the creative group "Backstage of Life" Marina Sadivnycha shares her impressions. That’s the best gift for the New Year. But the victory is not a reason to stop, because the topics we touch upon in our videos are extremely important. We have many ideas and creative plans.
