Second-year journalism students took part in a scientific discussion dedicated to Human Rights Day. Future media workers presented speeches on the topics related to the protection of the rights of minority groups, the LGBTI community, the problems of suicide, bullying, rights of people with disabilities, etc
Girls and boys, arguing for their theses, gave examples, presented infographics, focused on the methods of implementing the ideas of human rights in journalism. While discussing the reports, there were fervent debates. Participants, without hesitation, put questions to speakers. Most students shared their experiences and supplied shreds of evidence from their lives, making the discussion more ardent. So, there dominated a contrasting atmosphere in the audience.
Such events contribute to increasing the level of journalistic education on the mentioned problem.
