At the Department of Journalism and Philology started to work the radio school, which is conducted by the journalist, radio moderator Andriy Kulikov. The workshops are supported by the Media Development Fund of the US Embassy in Ukraine and the NGO MediaKompas
At the first meeting, Andrei Kulikov shared his experience in journalism in general and radio one in particular. The journalist gave pieces of advice to the beginners: how to write scripts, to broadcast live, to communicate with the audience and edit the audio materials. In addition, the students have got a list of the things they should avoid in radio moderating to make their language clear and to make the broadcast interesting and useful to people. According to the results of the training, the students have to issue their own radio product, which they will discuss with Andriy Kulikov at a further meeting. And then we hope that the prepared broadcasts will sound on the waves of the radio of the Sumy State University.
