On January 23 students and lectures of the Department of Journalism and Philology of the Sumy State University participated in the training “Self-presentation and persuasion in journalism”. It was conducted by Inna Penchuk - Professor, Head of the Department of Journalism of the Classic Private University (Zaporizhzhia), author and presenter of the TV program for children "Little adults" on the "Telekanal Z"

The purpose of the training was to train future journalists and advertisers to present themselves, attract and retain the attention of the audience.

Inna Penchuk pointed out that the main aspects of the work with the audience were the next: to establish a visual contact with the majority of the present members, not to show that you were worried, and not to apologize for it; to say "it's very important" to attract the audience's attention to the key idea.

The coach offered a number of exercises to consolidate the knowledge.

"I really liked the useful exercises, as well as the importance of the topic of training for journalists. I learned about the methods of attracting the attention of the audience and about some features of the work of the advertiser ", said the first-year student Olexii Tucha.

“I sometimes have difficulties working with a large audience, but this training pushed me for further development, and maybe now I will have fewer problems in this sphere”, said Yaroslava Ganzha, a first-year student.
