Anastasiya Sabchuk, a student from the Department of Journalism and Philology of the FРSC of Sumy State University, took part in the events dedicated to the anniversary of the liberation of the city of Trostyanets from russian occupation.

The event took place on March 26 at the communal facility “Centre of Cultural Services” of the Trostyanets City Council. The guests of honor were the soldiers of the separate 93rd mechanized brigade “Kholodny Yar”, who took part in the liberation of the city.

The guests of the event watched a film – an essay on the history of the occupation and liberation of the city. Defenders and volunteers received awards from the mayor Yuriy Bova. And then there was a concert, one of the participants of which was Anastasia Sabchuk. She congratulated the defenders and her fellow townspeople with a song.

Recalling the experience, the girl noted:

– March 26 is a memorable date for me and all Trostyanets residents, which causes both tears and joy. I had the honor of singing about the strength of Ukrainians. Despite the inequality of power and fear, we persevered, because Trostyanets is a city where resistance was born!

Anastasia Sabchuk“s creative journey began 15 years ago, and now she is a participant in almost every festive event in Trostyanets:

– I always enjoy participating in holiday programs, but this concert evoked special feelings. When she stood on the stage, she seemed to feel the heartbeat of every spectator and pride for our brave compatriots.
