On March 16, assistant of the department of journalism and philology of the FРSС of Sumy State University Olena Ishchenko, students of groups ZhT-11 and ZhT-12 took part in the online meeting “Mitacs Globalink Research Internship scholarship program”, organized by the Department of International Cooperation of Sumy State University. The speaker was Olena Bilotserkivska, who participated in the program twice. She emphasized that studying at one of Canada's leading universities is a reality for our students. You just need to believe in yourself and be ready to learn.

Mitacs Globalink Research Internship is an international initiative for international students from Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Taiwan, Tunisia, Great Britain, USA and Ukraine for a research internship in Canada. Students of the 3rd year of full-time undergraduate studies can participate. Each year from May to September, participants who successfully pass the interview undertake a 12-week research internship. The purpose of the program is to strengthen scientific ties between Ukraine and Canada, to enrich the national educational and scientific space with foreign experience.

– It was very interesting to hear about the real experience of a student who went to Canada on the Mitacs exchange program with all the facts, photos and complete information. In general, the meeting left a pleasant impression, clarified the situation regarding such a difficult issue, because the opportunity to study abroad is of interest to everyone, – Zakhar Yuvko shared his impressions.

Students of the department of journalism and philology know that constant self-improvement is the way that #Media_world_leads_to_the_universe.
