On April 5, an online meeting of representatives of the Department of Journalism and Philology of FPSC SSU with teachers of the Department of Audiovisual Arts of the University of Mainz named after Johann Gutenberg (Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany) took place.

The head of the department Volodymyr Sadivnychy and the head of the department, Mrs. Prof. Katya Shupp, as well as other professors of both universities, discussed areas of cooperation on joint research projects, opportunities for academic exchange of students and more. In particular, plans for the near future have been outlined. It is, first of all, about involving Ukrainian students in the educational process of a German educational institution. The first working meeting turned out to be quite effective, so both sides hope for further fruitful cooperation.
Some of the history of the University of Mainz. Founded in 1477, it is one of the ten largest universities in Germany. There are 35, 000 students in ten departments. One of them is the audiovisual arts, with which our cooperation is formed.
By the way, for the German partners the intention to establish cooperation with the Department of Journalism and Philology of the Faculty of FPSC SSU is also a desire to express solidarity and support students and fellow teachers from Ukraine in difficult times of war.
