It is published by Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Journalism and Philology Department of SSU.

The peer-reviewed articles of the journal deal with the issues encompassing all aspects of social communication, including history, theory, journalism methodology, publishing, advertising and PR, social communications and library science.

The submitted articles are subjected to blinded peer review.
